PACKAGING
Chums was in need of a whole packaging redesign. The branding and packaging of the products were all over the board. There were different logos, different background colors, and no cohesion.

When tasked with this project I went through 10 different rounds of options. Starting from the background colors, illustration for the background, layout, and illustrations of the products.

The final design was to emphasize the outdoor brand with the craft/recycled background. As well as allowing the red logo and the bright colors for each product category really grab people's attention.

WEB DESIGN
Chums was in need of a new website that allowed for an easier checkout process as well as a mobile friendly website. The process included simplifying the navigation, organizing 120+ products, and making the website more user friendly.

Changing from a hand-coded website to a Shopify website has allowed Chums to grow the e-commerce part of the business by 40% in one month.

CATALOG
The team at Chums had asked for a sales tool for all the 2020 available products. I was challenged with trying to show multiple color variations for all the products but allowing it to be easy to understand.

I was also tasked with creating a direction for the photography of the products. The eyewear retainers were especially hard because there was no consistency in the past photography. I helped to come up with a solution of the glasses being white, allowing your eye to be drawn to the retainer and how it connects to the glasses.
